Intensity = Suffering

It’s not surprising that the fitness industry is full of countless offers to get results without having to work for them.  It’s what we all want.  If I can lose weight, feel great and achieve optimal health all while eating nachos and watching football OF COURSE I would take the magic pill!  If I didn’t have to sweat, get out of breath, fight through sore muscles and still get results?  Sign me up.  Truth is I have tried this program in the past.  I did it for years before stumbling into CrossFit and I never saw results. Did you say you have showers?

Ever since we moved out of our garage and into our old building over 3 years ago we average 2-3 phone calls a month asking us if we have showers.  Until now the answer was always no.  We had several members that kept a membership to a local gym just to use their showers after they worked out with us in the mornings. Now when we get the calls asking if we have showers, they almost always follow our “yes” with a pause and “did you say yes you have showers?”.  Yes, we do now. Having showers and incredible facilities is not what we built our community and reputation on.  That was created by quality, safe training and by coaches and members that care about each other.  And care about pushing each other to reach their fitness goals.
